Hingoli district has a well-structured network of police stations strategically located in key areas, ensuring law enforcement coverage across urban and rural regions. Major police stations include Hingoli Police Station, Basamba Police Station, Old Gramin Police Station, MIDC Police Station, and Basmat City Police Station.

In rural areas, police stations serve as essential points of contact for local communities, addressing grievances and supporting law enforcement efforts. Residents commonly refer to police officers as ‘saheb,’ while familiar terms like Mama, Dada, or Kaka are used when the officer is a known acquaintance or relative.
